Whistles and COS Sales haul

I’m not 100% sure what’s come over me – in some sort of frenzied, out of body (and certainly out of my mind) fashion binge I’ve clocked up: 3 new dresses, a pair of boots, a scarf and a washed silk t-shirt this week alone. This from the woman who usually buys 3-4 key pieces each season and wears them To. Death.

These two gorgeous knits were half price from COS online (that’s my defence and I’m sticking to it), I love the deep leather pockets on the forest green one; perfect to stash all the tissues, tractors and fruit bars that I generally have about my person as a Mother Of A Boy:

I’m planning on wearing this with my marl grey ribbed tights and black Chelsea boots.

Next up is the Mark Lupfer for Whistles neon heart scarf that I ummed and ahhhed about in the shop on Wednesday and then promptly ordered as soon as I got home – it was £30 down from £55. Perfect knotted at the neck of my navy wool pea coat.

And here’s the rest of my Whistles haul: a simple orange jersey day dress for Italy this spring. OH is from the Amalfi Coast and this will be perfect to pack with my Pierre Hardy for Gap sandals for an easy, throw-on beach/lunch/shopping look. I like the ‘sports luxe’ feel, dropped waist, more practical pockets and exposed zip.

I’ve been looking for a smart, black top to wear with my new season obsession: print trousers. This loose-fit washed silk, black t-shirt is the perfect balance. A staple for my SS13 work wardrobe. I love the dropped back and keyhole detail.

Finally, my love for Clarks just keeps on growing – these all-leather tan Chelsea boots were super comfy from the first wear and great for our daily stomp to the beach (£27.99 from £60).

And still I’m not sated – my finger is hovering over the ‘buy’ button for these ASH wedge trainer beauties on The Outnet (they’re £88! down from £160!). MUST. RESIST.
