I’m still in a food coma after an incredible dinner at The Railway in Honiton last night (confit of duck, perfectly executed chips, sticky toffee pud…). It was our first double date night with some new country friends and it was the perfect grown-up night.
Now we’re just slinging a few essentials in a bag and decamping to Somerset for a few nights to celebrate Nonno Mansi’s 60th.
This was the view from their house over the Jubilee. It really is the perfect country village.
I hope you all have a great one, we’re finally going to catch Skyfall, eat a roast dinner of epic feast proportions and crank up the woodburner HIGH.
