CF Buys: Hunter Chatel Snow Boots

I picked up these Hunter Chatel Snow Boots from The Outnet recently, as this winter I want to BE PREPARED.

Last winter I picked my way through the snowdrifts in my rather in-practical Wellibobs from Joules, which did nothing to a/ keep me upright on the ice b/keep the snow out.

So, as I fully intend to embrace the winter weather this year (with a 2yo in tow, snowman building is pretty much mandatory), these snow boots from Hunter seemed like a good investment.

They come to just below the knee and have an elasticated cuff to keep the aforementioned snow (and any draughts) out. They are also super insulated to keep your toes cosy and legs, too.

I haven’t roadtested them yet (it is still unseasonally mild in rural Devon), but I have tried them on and they are surprisingly light-weight. As Country Bebe and I try and walk or cycle everywhere, I wanted something that I could walk with confidence in, even on icy pavements and that would keep me warm and comfy too. Not to mention stylish, with their faux leather detailing and smart ‘ski boot’ strapping.

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!
