Object of desire: Rifle Paper Co.

I am a total sucker for stationery. Of course I have the obligatory Smythson correspondence cards but it’s personalised stationery that really floats my boat. Perhaps the pinnacle of personalised stationery is the wedding invite. We had ours done at Mount Street Printers in Mayfair and their service and surprisingly, value for money, were 5* all the way. I couldn’t recommend them more highly.

There’s personal and there’s personal. My best friend and her delicious artist of an almost-husband spent a week in Cornwall crafting these beautiful invites to their summer wedding. She is an utter perfectionist so when I look at every hand-blocked tree and swallow I see love, excitement and dedication.

Now, I think a lot can be told about a person from their business card. From the weight of the paper to the colour, font and even shape. Jo over on A Cup of Jo did this great post on people who take the time to make sure their business cards say a little about them.

I’ve been in love with Florida based Rifle Paper Co. for a while and have waited until I’m in my forever job/home until I invest in their ingenious personalised business cards. It doesn’t come more bespoke than a hand-drawn illustration in your likeness:

All in for the portrait and 100 business cards it’s around £115 + p+p, but once RPC has your portrait each set of 100 is only £40, so 40p each. My obsession with stationery just got a whole lot bigger.
