Valentine’s Day north of the border

If you’re in Edinburgh and are feeling warm and fuzzy towards your beau this February 14th, head to the recently opened Thinking Chocolate for a cacao fix that will blow their mind.

I’m just going to insert some pics here so you can see *just* how good this little independent chocolatier is:

They’re all made in an open kitchen by mainly self-taught chocolate chef Nadia Ellingham*. I’ve guzzled the yule log (hazelnut gjanduja with chopped nuts and apricots, smothered with white chocolate and studded with pistachios and cranberries), rosemary truffles and I’ve heard the Nanimo bars sell out by the tray load.

Or how about a course for your beloved (from £45)? Then they can make you chocolates for the rest of the year… now that’s my kind of present.
